Splish-splash: Heavy rains inundate city streets
(VOV) - Heavy showers battered Hanoi on November 25 triggering flash floods with the rising waters blocking roadways and stranding thousands of drivers throughout the metropolitan area.

The weather service has issued flash flood warnings for the entire urban and surrounding area. |

There are a couple of feet of water at the intersection of Cau Giay, Me Tri and My Dinh streets. |

In alley 165 at Cau Giay Street, people were bailing water out of their houses by the bucketsful. |

Water was high as wheel wells at Me Tri Street. |

| It also flooded a coffee shop near The Garden urban area. |

| Hoang Minh Giam Street in the Cau Giay District became a canal. |
 |

Authorities are still assessing property and other damages at Tran Duy Hung Street, |
 |

the Hanoi-Amsterdam High School, |
 |
| and at alley 167 on Tay Son Street in the Dong Da District. |
