Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee Bui Quang Huy said the event, part of the ongoing Vietnam-Russia Youth Forum, aims to create more chances for young people of the two countries to exchange information about the youth’s situation in their respective nations, share experience in youth work, and review the time-tested bilateral friendship.

He stressed that young people of Vietnam are always well aware that the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two peoples, including youths, are the precious assets that need to be further consolidated and handed down from generation to generation.

The sound relations between Vietnam and Russia have been lifted a new height as seen in all spheres, including youth work, he added.

At the seminar, participants talked about friendship activities between the countries and gave proposals to help enhance cooperation between Vietnamese and Russian youths.

They also listened to some outstanding persons whose lives are attached with the countries’ relationship development telling stories about the bilateral friendship and the time they studied in Russia.
