Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee visits VOV headquarters

VOV.VN - Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai visited the Voice of Vietnam headquarters today (June 16) and congratulated the staff on Vietnam Revolutionary Journalism Day (June 21). 

At a reception at its main offices in Hanoi, VOV President Nguyen The Ky briefed the Secretary on recent developments affecting the news conglomerate.

He noted VOV has grown exponentially over recent years and now has six local and 10 foreign bureaus: Beijing (China), Vientiane (Laos), Bangkok (Thailand), Phnompenh (Cambodia), Moscow (Russia), Tokyo (Japan), Paris (France), Washington DC (US), Cairo (Egypt), Prague (Czech Republic).

In addition, Mr Ky thanked the Secretary for the support it has received from the Committee since it began operations, which has been instrumental in enabling  VOV to attain its goals of helping the country develop into a modern industrialized society.

Secretary Hoang Trung Hai in turn noted that VOV has performed brilliantly and fulfilled its tasks of disseminating Party and State guidelines and policies to Vietnamese both at home and abroad with distinction.
