Sao Ly gets full PhD scholarships from eight US universities

VOV.VN - Nguyen Thi Sao Ly, a 24-year-old Vietnamese student from the central city of Danang has received full PhD scholarships to study at eight prestigious US universities.

The reputable universities include MIT, Cornell University, University of California San Diego, University of Chicago, Rice University, University of Texas Southwestern and Baylor University.   

Sao Ly has chosen Johns Hopkins University which has topped among others for several consecutive years in the US and among top five universities in the world.

She is destined to begin her doctoral study in August this year after surpassing 5,500 candidates to win the scholarship worth more than US$400,000.
