Road traffic accident leaves two dead in Son La

VOV.VN -A couple has been killed in a traffic collision in Son La province. The incident took place on December 4.

At the scene of the accident
A truck, numbered 88H-3274, crashed into a motorbike, numbered 26F3-4695, whilst it was driving in the opposite direction on National Highway 16 in Chieng Mung commune, Mai Son district, Son La province at 19:00.

The tragic accident left Lo Van Son, 37, and his wife, Vi Thi Dien, dead. Both were residing in Na Nghe village, Hat Lot commune, Mai Son district.

The two vehicles were irreparably as a result of the damage caused in the crash.

According to the initial investigation by local police, the accident happened because the motorbike driver was driving on the wrong side of the road.
