Road accidents in Hai Duong leave at least six dead

VOV.VN -At least six people have been killed as a result of two major road traffic accidents which took place in Hai Duong province during the early morning of July 23.

Following the accident, relatives of the victim, local people, and rescuers gathered at the scene. At 6:05 am, a truck carrying a large quantity of water bottles suddenly drove into the crowd. In an attempt to avoid the masses of people, the truck flipped over and subsequently fell onto members of the crowd.

Upon receiving news of the incident, Kim Thanh district’s local authorities immediately make their way to the scene in order to conduct a careful investigation into the incident.

The deadly incident on National Highway 5 cause severe traffic congestion.

Nguyen Van The, Minister of Transport and a delegation from the National Traffic Safety Committee (NTSC) arrive at the scene.

The NTSC say that the truck, registered 29H 15097, belongs to Hanoi based Tiep Van Viet Co., Ltd. At that time of the collision, the truck was travelling at a speed of 65 km/h.
