Red Journey honours its all-star blood donors in Bac Ninh
VOV.VN - The Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee saluted 71 all-star blood donors at a ceremony today (July 21) for their help ensuring that lifesaving blood and platelets are available for anyone in need.

Bach Quoc Khanh, assistant director of the National Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusion, in turn noted that last year nearly 1.4 million units of blood were collected at blood drives and donor centres nationwide.
Eligible whole blood donors can safely give whole blood about once every 56 days, Mr Khanh said, noting that the all-star donors being honoured at the ceremony had given multiple times throughout the past six years.
He encouraged everyone who can give blood to visit a blood donation centre and do so. It is easy, convenient and a rewarding experience to know that you may help save a life.
