Quang Ninh police help flood victims evacuate

VOV.VN - Police from Ba Che district in the northern province of Quang Ninh have braved heavy rains to help flood victims evacuate their assets to safer areas as the district is rampaged by downpours and flooding caused by Storm Son Tinh.  

On July 19, due to the impact of Storm Son Tinh, floodwaters in Ba Che district continued to rise, blocking roads and submerging houses, according to police.
 
To ensure the safety of people and their assets, Ba Che police have co-ordinated with relevant forces to help flood victims evacuate their assets to safe shelters.
Until 2pm, 192 households in flood-prone areas had been moved to safer areas.
