Provinces from Quang Ninh to Thai Binh brace for storm Bebinca

VOV.VN - Localities bracing for the impact of storm Bebinca have called on all vessels to find safe shelter and implemented preventive measures in preparation for the severe weather.

Minister Cuong asked the people of Quang Yen town to keep an eye on important areas, especially dykes which have not been reinforced, and to actively collaborate with the police and army to mobilize the supplies and effort necessary to cope with any circumstances.

Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee has directed the cities of Ha Long and Cam Pha to implement anti-flood measures along Highway 18.

The Ha Nam sea dykes are upgraded every year.

Mr Tung asked the executive units of Hoang Van Thu Bridge to enact measures to protect workers and avoid damage to humans and property which could be caused by the storm.

Cat Hai dyke is currently being reinforced.
