President of French NA attends Francophonie Festival

VOV.VN - The President of the National Assembly of France, Claude Bartolone, on March 19 attended the Francophonie Festival held at Hanoi University.

The 2016 Francophonie Festival was jointly organized by the Hanoi University and French Embassy in Vietnam and provided a good opportunity for those who love the French language to meet and enjoy French culture.

A wide range of cultural, educational and scientific activities took place during the festival including exchanges between public and Francophonie organizations, contests and art performances.

This is the sixth year Hanoi University and French Embassy held such event to mark International Francophonie Day (March 20).
