Elsewhere, the Son Tra Peninsula Management Board and Singapore 1 came second and third, respectively.

The competition took place on April 29, drawing the participation of 15 teams, including six international teams. Foreign competitors brought home first prizes in different categories such as the Malaysian team in tube rescue, the Australian team in board rescue, and the Singapore 1 team in board relay.

The best foreign athlete title went to Scout of Australia, while Tey Huey Min of Singapore 1 was awarded for being the best female athlete.

The competition is part of activities marking the Da Nang sea tourism season 2025. It aims to provide a chance for all rescue practitioners in Vietnam and other countries to honour the silent heroes of beach rescue, enhance emergency response skills, and to share real-life rescue experiences.

It is also expected to promote safe beach tourism culture and reinforce Da Nang as a top summer destination.
