Portal of Vietnam - Nepal Friendship Association launched

The purpose of the portal is to disseminate information relating to both domestic and foreign policies of the Vietnamese Party and State, as well as contributing to enhancing friendship, understanding, and co-operation between the two peoples.

It also serves as a bridge to ramp up ties across multiple fields, including politics, economy, trade, culture, tourism, and religion in accordance with the laws of the two countries.

Upon addressing the event, Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga, president of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO), revealed that this represents the third website of the VUFO, which has helped to disseminate information on the union’s activities.

One year on from its establishment, the Vietnam - Nepal Friendship Association has gathered a number of managers, scientists, businesses, and religious dignitaries together, all of whom have made significant contribution to various fields, Ambassador Nga said.

The launch of the website will make a positive contribution to disseminating Vietnamese foreign policy, thereby further strengthening the friendship that between the Vietnamese people and the people of other countries around the world, she added.
