Planting ceremony of Japanese cherry trees held in Bac Ninh
VOV.VN - A planting ceremony of 100 Sakura cherry trees donated by the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association Chapter in the Chukyo Region was held on February 22 at the Nguyen Van Cu Park in the province of Bac Ninh.

It is my sincere hope, he said, that the blossoming of the trees each spring will serve as a reminder of the generosity and historic friendship with the Japanese people. Our presence here today constitutes a reaffirmation of that spirit.
Bac Ninh provincial leaders in turn expressed their deep gratitude for this magnificent contribution to the beautification of the province saying they shall cherish and nurture them as living reminders of both nations’ aspirations for peace and prosperity in the world.
