Pfizer and VNVC share experience in vaccine production
VOV.VN - Pfizer Vietnam Company Limited (Pfizer VN) and Vietnam Vaccine Joint Stock Company (VNVC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on March 18 to share their experiences in vaccine production in Vietnam.

Under the signed MoU, Pfizer will support the VNVC to improve its capacity to construct an international standard vaccine production plant in Vietnam.
The partnership is expected to help the country to produce high-quality vaccines locally, thereby meeting domestic demand and getting further involved in the global vaccine supply chain.
Pfizer will send leading experts from around the world to exchange expertise in vaccine production with specialists from VNVC’s vaccine and biological facility.
Addressing the signing ceremony, Ngo Chi Dung, chairman and CEO of the VNVC, underscored the importance of sharing expertise in vaccine production with Pfizer, which he said would contribute to fulfilling its goals of accessing some the world's leading modern technologies and providing solutions to protect public health against dangerous infectious diseases.
Dung added that the signing of MoU would also open up opportunities for the company to produce high-quality "Made in Vietnam" vaccines and seek opportunities to receive the handover of cutting-edge technologies in vaccine production in the future.
Meanwhile, Darrell Oh, general director of Pfizer Vietnam, expressed his desire to make active contributions to improving the quality of the healthcare ecosystem in the country, especially through a strategy to enhance the capacity of experts in the vaccine production in particular and the pharmaceutical industry in general.
