A traffic policeman says prolonged rain is causing difficulties for vehicles passing through Lai Chau province. In the early morning of June 24, heavy rains caused extreme landslides, paralyzing the transport system between the localities of Lai Chau and Lao Cai. Sections affected by landslides have been cleared by workers to ensure through-traffic for residents. |
