OVs in China, Mozambique gather for Tet celebration
VOV.VN - The Vietnam Embassy in Beijing hosted a get-together for the Vietnamese community in China to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year festival or Tet with dance and song performances.
In his remarks at the meeting, Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi reviewed the Vietnam-China ties and the nation's socio-economic development over the past year while praising the positive development of relations between the two nations.
Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong's recent visit to China has achieved good results with major orientations set for boosting the bilateral relationship in the coming time.
The contributions and efforts made by the Vietnamese community in China over the past years will help reinforce the Vietnam-China ties, the Vietnamese diplomat said.
To welcome the traditional New Year festival, the Vietnam Embassy and the Vietnamese Association in Mozambique also co-hosted a get-together in Maputo for Tet celebration.
