Over 250 projects inaugurated and launched nationwide to mark National Day
VOV.VN - Inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies for major projects are underway across 34 provinces and cities nationwide, to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Party and State leaders, together with officials from ministries, sectors, and localities, attended and directed the events at various sites.
This large-scale activity highlights Vietnam’s infrastructure progress, promotes socio-economic growth, and honors the nation’s cultural and historical values.
It is not only a major celebratory event but also an opportunity to inspire dedication, foster aspiration, and create momentum for the country’s development journey.
The program features numerous major projects in transportation, healthcare, education, parks, heritage sites, and essential public facilities. These works are expected to improve people’s quality of life, strengthen technical infrastructure, attract investment, and contribute to sustainable development in different regions.
A major ceremony took place on August 19, at the National Exhibition and Fair Center in Dong Anh District, Hanoi, and was connected via live broadcast to 79 other sites throughout the country.
The event was aired live on the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), Vietnam Television (VTV), and streamed on the online platform VOV.VN.
The inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies conveyed a strong message of determination, responsibility, and unity across the political system in realizing national development goals, while spreading pride, solidarity, and the aspiration for a more prosperous Vietnam.
As of August 11, 2025, the Ministry of Construction reported that more than 250 projects in 34 provinces and cities met the conditions to be included in this special program. With a combined investment of about VND1.28 quadrillion, sourced from both state funds and social resources, these projects represent a significant boost to Vietnam’s development momentum.
