Over 11,000 high-school students sit graduation exams, phase II
VOV.VN - More than 11,600 high-school students from 38 COVID-19 hit cities and provinces began the second phase of graduation exams on August 6, one month later than their peers.
Due to the spread of the fresh coronavirus outbreak, many candidates have been assisted to move to exam councils established in 13 cities and provinces to do the tests.
COVID-19 prevention and control measures have been strengthened in these exam councils to ensure security and safety of invigilators and candidates. All invigilators and candidates were required to have their body temperature checked and wash their hands with sanitizer before entering the exam classes.
The candidates are scheduled to sit exams on August 6-7.
During the first phase held on July 7-8, nearly 981,800 candidates took the exams. More than 11,000 candidates living in COVID-19 hit areas registered for the second phase. About 14,400 candidates in quarantine and lockdown areas applied for graduation from high school.
