Online searches for April 30 celebrations boom amid wave of national pride
VOV.VN - Online searches for the grand ceremony to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the southern liberation and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - 2025) have increased sharply, with millions of searches being made recently.

This national event has created an unprecedented wave of searches on the Cốc Cốc browser and search engine developed by the Hanoi-based technology company of the same name. As of April 28, there were about 2.8 million searches related to this historic event.
The search volume peaked on April 25, with 240,000 searches, up 550% from the average search volume in the early days of April.
The trend of searching for official activities consists of terms such as "diễu binh" (military parade), "diễu hành" (civic march), "tổng duyệt binh" (military parade rehearsal), and historical milestones such as "50 năm thống nhất đất nước" (50 years of national reunification).
People have been searching for not only schedules, but also for wallpapers, logos, logans, and the history of the April 30 victory.
Related key words such as "bắn pháo hoa," (fireworks display) and "trình diễn drone" (light drone show) have also drawn the attention of netizens.
According to a report by YouNet Media, between March 27 and April 15, more than 173,800 users discussed the military parade, generating more than 1.15 million discussions and 8.22 million interactions on social media platforms.
Social media platforms such as Facebook and TikTok account for a large proportion of these discussions, with 55.6% on Facebook and 34.6% on TikTok.
Netizens have shown a keen interest in the parade, sharing plenty of information about the location and schedule. This demonstrates the high expectations of many people about a major event occurring in Vietnam.
