Old woman carrying huge face tumor
(VOV) -Truong Thi My, 82, from the central province of Binh Dinh, has been painfully suffering from a huge tumor on her face for more than 40 years.
The tumor appeared on her left cheek at the age of 40 after giving birth to three children (two daughters and one son). My says the tumor causes pain and deforms her face.

My’s husband passed away and her three children are so poor that they cannot afford to pay her surgery.
She said, she has to work very hard to earn a living by picking cow dung and selling it at VND20,000 (less than US$1) per basket.
Earlier this year, My was brought to hospital with her right leg broken while picking cow dung on a mound.
My is calling for help from the community so that she can be cured of the dangerous disease.
Another woman, Doan Thi Tuyet, from the central province of Quang Tri, was lucky to have a successful operation on her 40cm-long face tumor.

Since her surgery at Vinmec hospital of Vingroup last May she has recovered well to resume her normal life as it used to be 50 years ago.
