NHK World – Japan promotes services in Vietnam
VOV.VN - NHK, the sole public media organization of Japan, will organize “Explore Japan” with NHK World-Japan, in Vietnam from January 17 – 23 to enhance audience service and promote its country and culture.
Through NHK World-Japan, NHK hopes to introduce its Vietnamese language service and international outreach services to a wider audience in Vietnam, while strengthening the friendship between Vietnam and Japan, said the event organizers.
The programme, due to take place at the Aeon Mall Ha Dong in Hanoi, will feature various engaging activities, including video presentations introducing NHK World-Japan, and interactive games. Participants will receive textbooks “Let’s Learn Japanese Together” along with many other exciting activities.
The event is a great opportunity for NHK to directly engage with Vietnamese viewers and listeners, according to a representative from the event organizers.
“It allows us to gain a deeper understanding of their feedback and opinions regarding NHK’s Vietnamese service, contributing to improving our service quality in the future. In addition, the event serves as a bridge to strongly promote friendship and cooperation between the people of Japan and Vietnam,” emphasized the representative.
NHK is Japan’s first and only public broadcasting corporation. It was founded at the beginning of the New Year 1926, following the model of the BBC in the UK, through the merger of Tokyo Broadcasting and stations in Nagoya and Osaka.
NHK currently operates four domestic TV channels and three radio channels. NHK World, its international arm, conducts international broadcasting to provide information both domestically and globally, showcasing Japan’s culture and lifestyle, while promoting friendship and cultural exchange.
