More than 15,600 Vietnamese workers sent abroad in two months

VOV.VN - As many as 15,605 Vietnamese workers, including 6,695 women went to work abroad in the first two months of this year, meeting 15.61% of the yearly plan, equivalent to 90.69% of the plan set for last year.

According to latest figures released by the Overseas Labour Management Department (OLMD) of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), 6,978 Vietnamese workers were dispatched to work overseas in February alone.


Taiwan (China) received the largest number of Vietnamese workers at 3,963 workers, followed by Japan (2,215), the Republic of Korea (57), Malaysia (503), Saudi Arabia (118), and Macau (29).
