Media outlets offer flags to mark 45 years since liberation of southern Vietnam
VOV.VN - Print newspapers throughout the country are to provide their readers with unique national flags on April 29.
The event aims to celebrate both the 45th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day on April 30.
Readers will be guided on how to cut out a national flag printed in the newspaper and then how to turn another part of the publication into a miniature flagpole.
With the national flag on offer being a small size, it can be used to decorate a table in the home of readers, their living room, their car, or other public areas.
In addition, readers are being encouraged to pose alongside their national flag and provide updates on social media using the hashtag #toiyeuvietnam as a means of celebrating the 45th anniversary of southern liberation and national reunification day.
The promotion has been launched by the Vietnamese News Agency and has been taken up by various national newspapers such as the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), Gia dinh Vietnam (Vietnam Family), Nong nghiep Vietnam (Vietnam Agriculture), and Kinh te & Do thi (Economy and Urban Affairs).
