Medal winners in international Olympiad contests to be honoured

VOV.VN - The Ministry of Education and Training will hold a ceremony to honour Vietnamese students who have won medals at the international Olympiad and science and technology contests this year.

This year the Ministry of Education and Training has sent 36 Vietnamese students to the international competitions who brought home eight gold, 12 silver, and 12 bronze medals, along with four certificates of merit.

Furthermore, Vietnamese teams continued to be among the top 10 best performers.

Most notably, the Vietnamese student team also won the third-place prize at the 2023 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (Regeneron ISEF 2023) Grand Awards which was held in Dallas, USA, in addition to a Special Award presented by the US Agency for International Development.

According to the organising board, the commendation ceremony is a meaningful event which creates a pervasive power, inspiring students across the country to strive forward in their learning.
