Malaysia supports flood victims in central Vietnam
VOV.VN - The Malaysian Ambassador to Vietnam Sharifah Norhana Syed Mustaffa on Dec. 17 handed over donations from the Malaysian Government and businesses to help victims of the recent serious flooding in central Vietnam.
The donations included US$25,000 from the Malaysian Government, goods worth US$22,000 from the association of Malaysian businesses in Vietnam, and US$5,000 from Gamuda Land group.
Subsequent storms and floods had hit central Vietnam since late September, leaving more than 230 dead and missing and causing estimated economic losses of about VND17 trillion.
