Local students enter final round of World Scholar's Cup 2022

VOV.VN - Three Vietnamese students based in Hanoi have earned tickets to enter the final round, also known as the Tournament of Champions, of the World Scholar's Cup after surpassing many outstanding contestants from 18 foreign countries to win Global Round’s Skittle Division.

The trio include Nguyen Linh Chi, 11, from Vinschool Smartcity, Xa Thao My, and Tran Le An Khanh, both 11, from Reigate Grammar Vietnam.

Moving forward, the final round of the competition is scheduled to be held in November at Yale University in the United States.

The World Scholar’s Cup is an international team academic programme specifically for secondary students aged eight to 18 from all around the world.

The event is also a forum in which students can express their opinions about a number of topics such as civics, science, history, literature, and the arts through discussions and debates in English.

The programme attracts competitors from roughly 50 countries from around the world and is typically attended by more than 3.000 students each year.
