Learning platform PREP to vie for Global EdTech Startup Awards

VOV.VN - PREP, a smart online learning and test preparation platform developed by Vietnam, has successfully surpassed a number of strong rivals to become the only Southeast Asian representative to compete at the Global EdTech Startup Awards 2024 (GESAwards) Finals, which is due to be held from January 22 to 24, 2025 in the UK.

The GESAwards 2024, the largest Edtech competition in the world, has attracted the participation of more than 8,000 EdTech Startups from 135 countries across the world.

It gives startups the chance to showcase their range of products to a global audience, connect and build significant partnerships, facilitate business opportunities, and vie for the Edtech Startup title of the year.

Along with promoting the best Edtech Startups, GESAwards helps to build local EdTech ecosystems, and facilitate the flow of EdTech investments to alternative markets.

A panel comprising of 58 industry experts will choose the winners based on five criteria, including addressing a clear educational pain, being relevant to the market; providing an innovative pedagogical approach; having an outstanding user experience; showing potential for tremendous growth in their user base; and operating in the context of a sustainable business mode.

Founded in 2020 by Tu Pham, PREP helps learners of all ages to reach their full potential. Its offerings include personalised study plans, interactive contents, and AI-powered test rooms. It has helped hundreds of thousands of users in their journey to get their desired test scores.

In 2023, the platform was honoured as a pioneering and promising AI application in the education field at the Edtech Asia 2023. It was also named on the annual list of the 50 most promising EdTech startups across Southeast Asia as complied by HolonIQ.
