Le Trung Khoa, Do Van Nga arrested on anti-State charges in Vietnam

VOV.VN - The Investigation Security Agency under the Ministry of Public Security on November 17 issued decisions to prosecute and detain Le Trung Khoa and Do Van Nga on charges of creating, storing, and disseminating information, documents, or materials against the State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam,” as stipulated in Article 117 of the Penal Code.

The Supreme People’s Procuracy (Department 1) has approved the decisions to prosecute and the detention orders for both individuals.

Le Trung Khoa, born September 23, 1971 in Thanh Hoa, has permanent residence in Dong Da ward, Hanoi, while Do Van Nga, born August 15, 1977, in Gia Lai, has permanent residence in Tuy Phuoc Dong commune, Gia Lai province.

Initial investigation results show that both Khoa and Nga were involved in producing, storing, and distributing information and materials deemed to oppose the State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The Investigation Security Agency is currently coordinating with the Supreme People’s Procuracy to investigate and clarify the case and the defendants’ alleged violations in order to handle the matter in accordance with the law.
