Lao Cai police seize hundreds of bricks of heroin
VOV.VN - Nearly 600 bricks of heroin, 350,000 ecstasy pills and a large volume of methamphetamine have been seized over the past one and a half years in the northern province of Lao Cai.

The number of drug trafficking cases which lead to arrests and prosecutions are rapidly increasing in the province, showing that traffickers take advantage of the border province to transport drugs to a third country.
Methamphetamine was smuggled from China using many sophisticated methods, making the work to prevent and fight drug trafficking more difficult according to the local law enforcement force.
