Landslide blocks Yen Bai-Lao Cai railway line

VOV.VN - A landslide caused by heavy rains buried around 100m railway line and six carriages at Lam Giang Station in Van Yen district, Yen Bai province on the evening of October 9.

No casualty has been reported but Yen Bai-Lao Cai railway line was blocked.

Immediately after hearing of the landslide, leaders of Van Yen district and the Yen Lao Railway Management Company came on the scene and directed forces to clear the tracks.

The Yen Bai-Lao Cai railway line is expected to open again in the next four days. During the time, passengers have to travel on Noi Bai-Lao Cai expressway or Highway 70.
