Job exchange floor to open in Ho Chi Minh City
VOV.VN - A job exchange floor will be held within the framework of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2023, which is scheduled to take place from April 6 to April 9 at September 23 Park in District 1.
According to information revealed by the organsing board of the festival on March 28, the job exchange floor is considered as a platform to connect tourism service businesses that are in need of recruiting a huge number of labourers.
It will also serve as a place where tourism training institutions and businesses can share and exchange information and experience relating to training and to improve the overall quality of tourism human resources.
According to Bui Thị Ngoc Hieu, deputy director of the city's Department of Tourism, the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival will be arranged into three spaces, including a tourism fair, an exhibition and art space, as well as a food corner.
The tourism fair will display a total of 120 booths showcasing various tourist products and services, provided by cities, provinces, and 30 travel companies.
The exhibition and art space will put on a variety of art performances and folk games for visitors to experience, while the food corner will serve festival-goers signature dishes from localities across the country.
Furthermore, several seminars will be organised within the framework of the festival to discuss ways to promote tourism in the northwest and the northeast regions.
The annual event is to be held by the municipal Department of Tourism and the Tourism Association as part of efforts to promote the southern city’s image as a safe, attractive, and friendly destination to domestic and foreign guests.
