Japanese-standard dialysis center inaugurated in HCM City
A high-quality dialysis center compliant to Japanese standards has been inaugurated at Nguyen Tri Phuong Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
The newly-opened facility, featuring 20 modern dialysis machines, is capable of serving 50 to 60 patients with kidney failure per day, according to the hospital.

Doctor Vo Duc Chien, director of the hospital, said all equipment and medical processes at the center strictly follow Japanese standards.
The center was built under cooperation between the clinic and the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy and Tanaka Urology Clinic Group.
Dr. Chien said the dialysis center aims to become a training facility for nephrology and dialysis therapy at an international level.
In 2015, the hospital promoted the dialysis unit into a department level, featuring some 30 dialysis machines, serving 150 patients a day.
