Japanese Government offers 300 vaccine freezers to Vietnam
VOV.VN - The country has received 300 vaccine freezers funded by the Japanese Government through the UN International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF).
Included in the donation are 100 vaccine freezers which docked at Ho Chi Minh City Port in September, along with 200 freezers, which arrived at Hai Phong Port.
Moving forward, the freezers are set to be transported to 300 medical facilities across the country in order to store COVID-19 vaccines during the ongoing nationwide vaccination campaign.
Each freezer has a storage capacity of 80.5 litres and is able to store COVID-19 vaccines at temperatures between +2°C to +8°C, even if the power is out for up to 72 hours.
