Japan to ease visa rules for Vietnam: local newspaper
The Japanese Government will relax visa regulations for citizens from five countries, including Vietnam, in a bid to attract more tourists to Japan in the coming time, the local Yomiuri newspaper said on March 30.
Japan welcomed 19,470 million international tourists in 2015, including 5.61 million from the aforesaid countries (28.4%).
Japan will also increase the number of areas with free WiFi access and allow popular public transport services to receive online orders from foreign tourists.
The country aims to greet 5 million tourists on cruises by 2020.
