Japan launches new Vietnam friendship association
VOV.VN - The Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association (JVFA) has launched a new chapter in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, comprised of 200 members.
“The organization was created to support the development of business,” Hiroshi said.
He said even though Vietnamese make up a small percentage of the population in Japan, they contribute a large chunk of gross receipts and so we felt it necessary to form the association.
“The conclusion was to join an established organization with a set framework and connections to help the Vietnamese community to communicate more as a unified voice,” he said.
Vietnamese entrepreneurs don’t always use a support system, but if they are given the right tools and use the resources that are freely available, they will develop and grow a lot faster.
The lack of knowledge of resources is the biggest challenge that I see, he said.
Vietnam Consul General Tran Duc Binh in turn pledged to support the association and said he is confident it will contribute to enhancing mutual understanding, friendship ties and economic exchange between the two regions.
