Israeli President Rivlin, First Lady tour Vietnamese dairy farm

VOV.VN - President Reuven Rivlin and his wife Nechama today (Mar. 23) toured a dairy farm near Ho Chi Minh City as they continue their state visit to Vietnam.

The dairy farm has been equipped with the latest cutting-edge dairying technology from Israel.

It is unlike most of the dairy farms in Vietnam that still operate using traditional methods.

Israel has pushed the boundaries of what dairy cows can do and milk production on farms like this produce more than twice as much milk as traditional methods.

The dairy is a joint project between the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.

The cooperation project is in its fifth year.

President Rivlin is delighted to hear that the dairy has become a model for farms in Cambodia and Thailand to emulate.
