Int’l development programme on project management successfully concluded in India
VOV.VN - The International Management Development Progamme on Project and Risk Management for Public Work from February 20 to March 17, 2023 has been successfully completed at the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) in New Delhi, India.
More than 30 participants selected from over 30 countries and territories around the world attended a four-week training course on project and risk management for public work, which was held at IIPA under the sponsorship of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme, the Ministry the External Affairs (MEA), the Government of India.
During the course, trainees learned concepts and significance for economic development, project life circle, project formulation and appraisal, including commercial and financial aspects of a project. They also got to know project implementation, schedule and cost over-run, and how to manage project risks, monitor and evaluate project effectiveness.
Participants also visited various public works and development projects where they shared experience from their home countries.
They made a week-long study tour to Rajasthan State where they worked with a mining business, renewable energy firm, law institute, healthcare academy and services.
This was seen as a great opportunity for the participants from more than 30 countries to gain a better understanding of India’s land and people and colorful impressive culture diversity.
