Ho Chi Minh City Days in Laos
VOV.VN - Ho Chi Minh City Days themed “Vietnam-Laos Friendship lasts forever” are underway in Vientiane, Laos as part of activities celebrating the 55th anniversary of special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

Tat Thanh Cang, Vice Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee said,“The Ho Chi Minh City Days in Vientiane are one of the large-scale programs covering art performances and trade, investment, and tourism seminars. It forges closer ties between the people of the two cities, particularly the young generation and make them better understand the loyalty and neighborliness between Vietnam and Laos.”
Ho Chi Minh City now has 36 enterprises investing in Laos with a total capital of US$345 million. A broad range of trade fairs and investment promotion conferences have been held in recent years, helping connect the two countries’ businesses and provide useful information for them, Cang said.
Within the framework of the event, the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre organised a conference to promote the city’s investment, trade and tourism in Vientiane.
