Ho Chi Minh City charity run to raise funds for disadvantage children
VOV.VN - The 'Skechers Friendship Walk 2024', a charity event to raise funds for disadvantaged children, will be held on May 5 at Saigon Riverside Park of the Thu Thiem New Urban Area in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event is being organised by Skechers, a globally renowned fashion and sports brand from the United States. The run will be an exciting opportunity, not only for professional athletes, but also for everyone who shares a passion for walking and running.
Moreover, through this event Skechers hopes to bring people closer together to take meaningful steps and further contribute to the Operation Smile Vietnam's cleft surgery fund.
Operation Smile is a US-based non-profit organisation that provides free surgery in 25 countries for children and young adults born with facial deformities.
Last year, the race attracted nearly 1,900 participants from across the country.
