Ho Chi Minh City cancels May 1 drone light show

VOV.VN - Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Culture and Sports has announced that the planned drone light show featuring 10,500 unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) on the evening of May 1 will be canceled.

On April 30, the city had attempted to launch the show, but it was suspended due to signal interference. “To ensure flight safety, the organizing unit decided to halt the performance and retrieve the drones,” the department added.

Earlier, on April 28, the city held a rehearsal of the light show featuring 10,500 drones.
The event received enthusiastic support from a large number of residents and visitors. This was the largest drone light show ever held in Ho Chi Minh City.
