Hanoi students win six medals at Int’l Junior Science Olympiad
VOV.VN - All six of the outstanding students representing Vietnam at the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) 2024 have won medals, according to The Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
Of the group, there were five silvers and one bronze.
The six-member team includes Le Tung Lam, Le Gia Hong Minh, and Nguyen Ngoc Que Chi from the Hanoi-Amsterdam Gifted High School; Vuong Ha Chi and Vu Nhat Long from the Newton Secondary and High School; and Nguyen Thanh Nhan from the Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted.
They were selected from over 200 participants in the IJSO 2024 exam.
IJSO 2024, taking place from December 2 to December 12 in Romania, gathered together students from 56 countries and territories worldwide.
Contestants competed in a 240-minute exam with questions in physics, chemistry, and biology.
Through the competitions running from 2007 to 2023, the IJSO Hanoi teams representing Vietnam have always achieved high results, winning a total of 77 medals, including 16 golds.
