Fresh water lacking in flooded Quang Binh

VOV.VN - After the water level receded, the flood-ravaged Ngo Xa and Ngo Bac villages in Son Thuy commune, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province remain isolated and run short of food and fresh water.


The water level from Cam Ly river recedes very slowly on October 17.


Local people had to evacuate or have lived on the rooftop for four days.


The houses of Ms Lien and Ms Doat are isolated by flood water.

All water wells are contaminated by flood leading to the shortage of safe water.

Many families have to filter river water for drinking water. 

Catching fish for food.
