French Ambassador loves Vietnamese food

(VOV) - French Ambassador to Vietnam Jean-Noël Poirier began his working term in 2012. He is deeply impressed by Vietnamese food, especially noodle soup and rice vermicelli with soya curd and shrimp paste.

Porrier and his staff go to Dong Xuan market lane on his Vespa.

He often buys ingredients from the market to cook at home or goes to popular restaurants in Hanoi’s Dong Xuan market lane to enjoy his favourite food.

Dong Xuan market lane is famous for Hanoi specialities. Each dish costs around VND30,000.

Porrier likes to visit popular and informal places to experience Hanoi vitality.

Porrier enjoys rice vermicelli with soya curd and shrimp paste at Ms Hang’s family restaurant, which has sold it for 20 years.
