France-Vietnam job fair to open in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City

The fair, to be jointly launched by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV) and the France Alumni Vietnam, is expected to attract nearly 30 Vietnamese, French, and international companies operating in the two cities. The firms are operating across various fields, including commerce, distribution and retail, accounting and auditing, communications, information and technology, tourism, transport, logistics, and construction.

Addressing a recent press conference, Consul General of France in Ho Chi Minh City Emmanuelle Pavillon-Grosser stressed that the fair, which was held for the first time in 2014, aims to meet the various needs of both businesses and young graduates.

She revealed that French companies have provided nearly 50,000 jobs in the country over recent times. In 2022, Business France Vietnam accompanied more than 200 French enterprises to develop business co-operation in Vietnam.

The eighth France-Vietnam Job Fair is set to open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 13 at Novotel Saigon Center in Ho Chi Minh City and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 20 at Novotel Hanoi Center in the capital.
