Four more COVID-19 patients receive discharge from hospital
VOV.VN - An additional four novel coronavirus (COVID-19) patients were released from hospital on July 31, boosting the country’s total number of recovered cases to 373.
Two of the four cases are Myanmar sailors who entered the country through Hon Gai port in the northern province of Quang Ninh on July 19.
They both tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus and were immediately transferred to a quarantine facility in Quang Ninh.
The two remaining cases are Vietnamese citizens, with one living in Hanoi and the other in Ho Chi Minh City. They had been repatriated from Bangladesh before testing positive for COVID-19 on July 5.
At present, all of the individuals are enjoying a stable health condition and are displaying no symptoms of the virus, such as a fever, a cough, or shortness of breath.
The four patients will now be placed into isolation to undergo a mandatory 14-day observation period to ensure that there is no possibility of the virus recurring or being transmitted among the wider community.
