Four fishermen found dead with one missing in boat accident

Rescue forces were able to gain access to the sunken vessel and discovered four dead bodies at noon on July 3. The bodies have been identified as Nguyen Tan Kiet, Lo Van Toan, Bui Van Tai, and captain Tran Truc Ba.

Another fisherman, later identified as Cao Tan Thach, remains missing.

The fishing vessel had been carrying 10 crew members on board when it capsized following strong waves in the waters off of Hon Lau at 19:00 on July 2.

Five fishermen were successfully saved by another fishing vessel, captained by Tran Cuong, which happened to be passing the scene at the time of the incident.

Rescue forces are continuing to search for the remaining crew member.
