Foreign students enjoy Tet in Vietnam

The Nha Trang University in the central province of Khanh Hoa has held a wide range of activities to help foreign students experience the Lunar New Year (Tet) – the biggest festival in a year of the Vietnamese people.

Accordingly, they had the chance to understand more about the culture and customs of welcoming Tet in Vietnam.

Vongsay Phetmany from Laos said that the cultural exchange programme is very useful, especially for international students celebrating Tet in Vietnam for the first time like her.

On this occasion, the university also presented Tet gifts to foreign students. Vice Rector Pham Quoc Hung expressed his hope that through exchange programmes, they will help spread positive messages and promote Vietnam’s culture to international friends, thus contributing to tightening Vietnam’s friendship with other countries.
