Flappy Bird Developer partners with Japan’s OBOKAIDEM
(VOV) - dotGEARS, the Vietnam-based studio behind global mega hit Flappy Bird, has announced a deal with OBOKAIDEM, a game brand operated by Tokyo-based Media Kobo (3815).
Details are scarce at this juncture, but the agreement purportedly focuses on an exclusive partnership arrangement between the two and development of a joint smartphone game.
The first co-developed app is tentatively entitled ‘N Project’ and scheduled for global release later this year and is widely reported to be a Ninja-themed game.
