Five workers fall to death at hotel construction site in Danang
Five workers died after falling from a 10-story height at a construction site in Danang on January 30, apparently because a temporary elevator collapsed.
Their colleagues said they heard a bang at around 1:30 a.m. and found two workers dead and three others in critical condition at the site of the four-star Royal Lotus Danang Hotel project.

The three workers were rushed to Danang Hospital. At 9 a.m., doctors said all of them succumbed to serious injuries.
Initial investigation found the elevator cable broke under heavy weight.
H&K Group is the developer and Duyen Hai Company is responsible for construction work. The hotel, located on Nguyen Van Thoai Street in Ngu Hanh Son District, is scheduled to be completed later this year with 194 rooms.
