First-ever models with disabilities grace the catwalk in Hanoi

(VOV) -On November 21, a fashion show at the Italian Cultural Centre ‘Casa Italia’ once again proved that beauty emanates from the heart by featuring beautiful disabled models walking the runway.

The fashion show is a stepping-stone in the effort to change the stereotypes that society has long associated with disabled people.

It also aims to change the way people with disabilities perceive themselves, and instil in them a new awakening and redefinition of their uniqueness, beauty and sense of self-worth.

Fashion designers – Diego Chula from Spain, Bianco Levrin from Italy, and former Miss Vietnam Ngoc Han – really revved up the show, and raised the excitement to fever pitch.
